A wedding singer in Dubai sings live at the moments you choose: your entrance, your first dance and the reception, with songs you pick together beforehand. You can book a solo singer with backing tracks, a singer with a guitarist or pianist, an Arabic singer for the zaffa, or an opera singer for the ceremony. Send your date and venue, and we send the wedding singers who are free, with videos and a price.
Price: a solo wedding singer with backing tracks typically costs AED 4,000 to 8,000 for two 30 minute sets. A zaffa entrance singer is AED 3,500 to 7,000 on top of a reception set. See singer prices in Dubai.
The moments a singer can cover
The entrance. A song as you walk in sets the tone for the whole night. For Arabic weddings, the zaffa is a high energy entrance of 10 to 15 minutes with the singer leading the couple or the groom in. See Arabic singers.
The ceremony. A soft ballad, a classical piece or an aria while guests take their seats. An opera singer with piano suits a formal ceremony.
The first dance. Send your song early. The singer can prepare a custom arrangement so it sounds like your version, not the radio edit.
The reception. One or two sets after dinner, building from slow songs to dance floor hits. A short DJ or instrumental break between sets keeps the room full.
Pick the voice for your guests
Think about who is in the room. A mixed international crowd enjoys pop and soul classics. Families from the Gulf often want Khaleeji songs. Levantine weddings love Lebanese pop and dabke. Indian weddings may want Bollywood songs. Many singers cover two or three styles and sing in English, Arabic, Hindi, French or Italian, so tell us the mix of guests and we suggest the right voice.
You can choose a female singer or a male singer. Weddings with separate men's and ladies' sections sometimes book one of each, so both rooms have live music without a gap while one singer moves.
Venue rules to check early
Hotel ballrooms in Dubai set rules on sound, volume after a certain hour and the time the zaffa may start. Public venues also need an entertainment permit, and hotels usually ask for their own approval on top. The team handles the permit as part of the booking, but it takes a few working days, so do not leave it to the last week. Outdoor weddings in gardens or on beaches often need extra sound and a technician.
How to book a wedding singer
Send the date, the venue, the guest count, the moments you want covered and your song ideas. The team sends videos of the singers who are free and a price. You agree the set list and timings, confirm with a deposit, and brief the singer on the final songs a few days before. The planning guide has a full checklist.
