Music starts only after the call to Maghrib prayer and the iftar meal. Many corporate tents use a two part evening: a soft background set while guests eat, then a fuller set once plates are cleared. Volume stays lower than at a wedding or party out of respect for the fasting month, and venues near mosques often have stricter limits. Agree the start time and the load-in time with your venue before the night.
