A corporate event singer in Dubai performs live at gala dinners, award ceremonies, product launches, networking events and staff parties, with sets timed around your speeches and agenda. You choose the style for your audience: jazz for the welcome drinks, pop for the party, Arabic songs for a Gulf audience, or opera for a formal gala. Send the date, venue and running order, and we send singers who fit, with videos and a price.
Price: a solo singer with backing tracks typically costs AED 4,000 to 8,000 for two 30 minute sets, and a singer with an oud or qanun player AED 7,000 to 13,000. Read what a singer costs in Dubai.
Where a singer fits in your agenda
Welcome drinks and networking. Soft jazz, soul and acoustic covers at a volume that lets guests talk. A singer and guitarist needs very little space here.
Dinner. One set of familiar songs between courses, paused for speeches and awards.
After the awards. An upbeat pop set that turns a formal dinner into a party. Combine the singer with your DJ, so the dance floor stays full between sets.
Product launches and brand moments. A short feature performance at the reveal, timed to the second with your AV team.
Match the singer to the audience
Who is in the room matters more than anything else. A young international team wants pop hits. Senior clients at a formal gala may prefer jazz standards or an opera singer with piano. Government linked events and National Day celebrations usually book a Khaleeji singer, often with a tabla player. Mixed audiences can hear songs in English, Arabic, Hindi and other languages in the same set. See Arabic singers for the Arabic styles.
Dress code and song choice should be agreed in advance, especially for conservative or government linked events. Tell the team if you want strictly traditional attire and no crossover pop songs.
Sound, permits and timing
Singers bring microphones and sound, or work with the venue's AV team. Indoor ballrooms usually only need a small PA. Gardens, beaches and yacht decks often need outdoor sound and a technician. Public venues need an entertainment permit, and hotels ask for their own approval as well. The team handles the permit, which needs a few working days.
Book 3 to 10 days ahead for a normal date. For Ramadan, Eid and the National Day period, book 2 to 4 weeks ahead, because these dates fill quickly.
