You can hire a male singer in Dubai for a corporate gala, a wedding reception, a men's majlis, a product launch or a private party. Male vocalists here sing pop, soul, swing, rock, Arabic and Khaleeji songs and Bollywood, solo with backing tracks, with an oud player, or playing guitar themselves. Send the date, the venue and the style you like, and the team sends videos of the male singers who are free, with a price.
Price: a male singer with backing tracks typically costs AED 4,000 to 8,000 for two 30 minute sets, or AED 7,000 to 13,000 with an oud or qanun player. See the price guide.
When to book a male singer
Mixed galas and launches. A male singer is the usual choice for mixed corporate audiences. Swing and crooner classics during dinner, then pop and dance hits after the speeches. See corporate event singers.
Wedding receptions. Most mixed wedding receptions book a male singer. For Arabic weddings, he can lead the zaffa entrance as well as the reception set.
The men's majlis. At weddings with separate sections, a male Khaleeji singer performs for the men's side while a female singer performs for the ladies.
National Day and Gulf audiences. Khaleeji singers are the standard booking for National Day and government linked events, often with a tabla player.
Styles
Male singers here cover:
- swing and crooner classics for elegant dinners
- pop, rock and soul covers for parties
- Arabic singing in Khaleeji, Lebanese and Egyptian tarab styles, see Arabic singers
- Bollywood songs
- acoustic sets with guitar, see singer and guitarist
Many singers sing in English and Arabic, and some in Hindi, French or Italian, so a mixed audience hears songs it knows.
What to agree before the night
Agree the set list, the dress code and the timings. For conservative or government linked events, say if you want traditional dress and no crossover pop songs. Plan the sets around your speeches and dinner service, and leave a short break between sets for a DJ or a playlist. Venues outside private homes need an entertainment permit, which the team arranges.
